CADD Centre Gurugram partners with COSMO Instruments India

An industry-academia collaboration bringing technical training, internships and project-based learning to learners at the Sector 14 centre.

What the collaboration covers

COSMO Instruments India and CADD Centre Gurugram have begun working together on three things: technical training shaped with input from practising engineers, internship opportunities, and project work set against real industrial requirements rather than teaching exercises. It sits under the same Industry Connect umbrella as our corporate training and recruitment panel work.

Why it matters for a learner

The gap most engineering graduates run into is not the software. It is that nothing in a degree tells you what a working instrumentation or manufacturing team actually expects on the first day — how a line is laid out, how test and measurement equipment is used, what gets checked and by whom. Exposure to a live facility, and to the people running it, closes that gap earlier than a first job otherwise would.

Learners on the shop floor

Learners from the centre have already visited COSMO’s facility, walking the floor and seeing instrumentation and test equipment in the setting it is actually used in. Visits of this kind run alongside the classroom programme rather than replacing it, and they feed back into how the modules are taught.

What happens next

The collaboration is new, and the internship and project strands will be opened to learners programme by programme rather than all at once.
